Trivia/Urban legend?

Some one mentioned Bison trivia, and this story jumped into my head. Please verify the story if you can. Legend has it that in the early 80's some fraternity (not sure if it was the ATO's or AGR's) smuggled a keg of beer into Dacotah Field by having someone pretend to be disabled and in a wheelchair. The keg was supposedly hidden under the chair. Can any of you intelligent fans shed some light on this? ???

True, I believe, but I don't know who....I'm also told, by some of the same people who told me about the wheelchair, that someone snuck a keg in on a Friday night, securing it under the bleachers beneath their seats, to be accessed from above on Saturday...anyone know about that one?

I was involved in that incident. *It happened when i was a freshman.....it was the AGRs.....and the Campus Cops actually helped us carry him up into the student section. *I can't remember who it was that we had in the wheelchair........It was Homecoming 1979.

At halftime we went to Polar and got another keg because the first one ran out. Got the idea from U of M

I was so drunk ...... I don't really remember the second keg at half-time. But I will never forget those damn Campus Cops carrying the wheel chair up into the bleachers!!!! Didn't a picture get into the Spectrum of the keg??? If I remember right I think it did......

I am pretty sure the mural was painted in the Fargodome the first year that we used it, which was 93.

I dont remember many of the players from the far back, but for some reason, all that comes to mind is Arden Beachy...?

My wife recently found the "Official Trivia Game of NDSU" while out "rummage saling" with a friend. It has never been opened and is still in the shrink wrap. I wasn't aware that such a game even existed. Is anyone interested in the game or should I crack it open and ask the questions on this trivia board?

The box indicates the questions were researched by the NDSU Sports Information Dept. in 1995.

I would call Sports Information. Maybe they know where to find the questions so you don't have to break into it.

yeah we actually have a version of that game too...one of my roomates mothers found it in a closet, the questions are pretty tough for us younger kids but for all you older guys out there it would probably be a fun trip down memory lane
