Kartes is interesting at 6' 202. Had big numbers as a RB in HS. Quincy is a load. Listed at 6'3" 246.

Also noticed that Zach Kubas, who started some games at RG is no longer listed on the roster. Must of decided to move on after the spring season.

Seth Wilson listed on the roster but not assigned a number. Same for Dylan Hendricks. Would love to see Wilson play again but probably a long shot.

I also don't see WR Cole Jacob on the roster either. Also must of decided to move on after the spring season.

For underclassmen: Kaden Kuntz, Austin Avery (retire back injury), Trey Steinbach (transfer Augustana), Caleb Beebe, Jaden Klabo and Joe Kava are also no longer on the roster. Probably missing a few. Just going off ones I noticed.

Assuming both have injuries that will keep them out this fall.

How is it that Lloyd was in the weight program for 4 years at Wisconsin and is 227, when was 220 as a Fr? You expect he’d be 245 or 250.

Could be very telling as wisco is very known for being a developmental program with a great strength and conditioning staff

Badger coaching staff could have had a reason for maintaining his weight at that level.....who knows?

Also a good point! Maybe they wanted a flex TE who was a bit lighter?

Cam Miller only added 3 pounds of weight. I was hoping he would have been much stronger so he can be a run threat and break some tackles. 6-1, 208. Maybe he just doesn't have the frame to get to 215+

Quincy Patterson added 11 pounds, probably muscle so he could be a beast to take down at 6-3, 246. And amazingly he looks slim

Cole Payton 6-3, 221

For reference Stick was 221

Also the years of eligibility must be off. All the Juniors in the spring are listed as seniors. That was a free year

I noticed that. They almost need a new way to note that free season somehow or this will be confusing for years to come.

They misrepresented the whole roster in that way correct? I was concerned it was players choosing/telling us they are staying on track and leaving when graduated.

Luepke slimmed down 9 pounds. Last year he was at full back weight and he looked a little slow at times hitting the hole or running off tackle. Now he should be quicker but still big enough for occasional fullback blocking duties. What a luxury to have a guy we can put in the I formation and defenses have to respect him. Or the return of the delta

The following is on the roster page:

Note: Players are listed as though eligibility progressed normally in 2020-21. Extra seasons of eligibility due to COVID-19’s impact on the 2020-21 season will be noted when they are utilized following a player’s regular senior season.

But there are no notations of the extra year. Isn't this fall the extra year for Volson, Buetow, and Thomas?

For the record, Cam can be stronger than he was in the spring and only have gained 3 pounds.

Possible but unlikely. Or be could be exactly the same size as he was last football season when he was clearly undersized. Some people shit 3 pounds

Now it's more realistic that he got faster and quicker

A full year with Kramer and he hasn't got stronger? Stop. Weight isn't everything.

I would wager that a sophomore in college who has been training is probably a good bit stronger than his freshman self regardless of weight lol.

Something tells me you have literally zero fucking idea what you are talking about.

I don't? You're basically saying weight has nothing to do with strength. Duh you can be stronger and the same weight but cmon.

No one said they have nothing to do with each other. But only one person here is saying that a kid who has been in a division one lifting program isn't stronger after a year.

All you did was literally looked at two numbers and started bitching about how the kid wasn't getting stronger.

I also said in prior posts that they didn't expect him to play for 3 years which leads me to believe he is not physically ready to be our QB. Kid needs to get get up to 215-220 like Stick to be an effective runner at this level. It's going to take a few years. He needs to be MUCH stronger and he is not.
