2019 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Played all 16 games and made 13 starts at defensive end...Totaled 33 tackles with 6.0 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks...Credited with one pass breakup and four quarterback hurries...Tied a career-high with four tackles in back-to-back playoff wins over Illinois State and Montana State...Had a solo sack against James Madison in the national championship that forced a missed field goal late in the first half...MVFC Honor Roll and Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.

2018 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Took a redshirt year with the Bison while playing in the NCAA-maximum four contests...Totaled six tackles...Had two tackles for loss, one sack and a fumble recovery in the season-opener against Cal Poly...Career-high four tackles in the win over North Alabama...Also played in the NCAA quarterfinals against Colgate and semifinals against South Dakota State...MVFC Honor Roll and Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.

2017 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in 13 of 15 games...Part of the kickoff return unit and provided depth at defensive end...Made three tackles and finished the year with 1.5 tackles for loss, a half-sack, one forced fumble and one recovery...Named to Phil Steele's FCS Freshman All-America second team...MVFC Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2017 graduate of Kimberly High School...Four-year letterman under coach Steve Jones...Two-year starter and team captain...Played defensive end, tight end and long snapper...The Papermakers went 56-0 with four state championships in his career...Logged 133 tackles over his final three seasons including 22 tackles for loss and 16 sacks in 37 games...Caught five passes for 59 yards and three TDs...Two-time all-conference first team and all-region pick...Conference Defensive Lineman of the Year and all-state first team in 2016...Also threw for the track and field team with marks of 60 feet in the shot put and 171 feet with the discus...Honor roll student.

PERSONAL: Majoring in social science education with a minor in business administration...Son of David and Lizette McCormick...Brother, Connor, played for Minnesota State Mankato...Also has two sisters, Kelsey and Leah.
