PWO QB out of Barrington, IL. Looks like he's fairly smart. Had committed to Augustana. Looks to be a link to our new RB coach Joe B from some previous recruiting at Mankato.

Gary Showers, backup QB in the late 60's was also from Barrington. My
brother was Director of Coral Music and had 2 nieces graduate from
Barrington. An excellent school. I believe Sam Ojuri was also from
Barrington.

He was probably never going to play. Cole Payton is next man up and my understanding is the coaches are high on Trey Drake.

I also think they have another good QB coming in from Illinois.

These are the guys where I like the portal. Stuck on the depth chart, not much chance of getting a scholie, let him go somewhere he can play. Best wishes Peter.

It's just the vehicle to do it now. The bigger change is not having to sit out a year. That's the real change.
