why the heck can't our Athletic Dept/Marketing staff get ESPN to use NDSU ?

Today it was N Dakta St

last few yeaes No Dakota St.

(weve seen ND State and others)

wouldn't NDSU just be easier across the board on all marketing? it looked so stupid all over ESPN platforms today.

They should be thanking us for that.

Also, it is good marketing.

I've seen this with other schools as well.

I think the "U" becomes redundant and implied when you know it's NCAA, from ESPN's point of view.

My favorites have been when ESPN named:

University of Louisiana Monroe: LAMO
University of Louisiana at Lafayette: LALA

As long as its clear who they are referring to i don't really see a problem.

As long as they get the State in there I'm content. Annoying when people say the "North Dakota has a great team" or something along those lines.

I think that our font should be different than the others, possibly large, AND italicized.

I was talking to a professor about a project I'm working on relating to Ag stuff. I say Ag with a hard A instead a soft A, (Ay-gies, Ay-Griculture, etc) and after about 20 minutes on the phone it became clear the whole time he thought I was talking about laws relating to Eggs.

I'm not sure who was more embarrassed when I clarified I was referring to Ag law, rather than the much more narrow and possibly non-existent Egg law.

can/should it be bolded and underlined as well?

I didn't think that need to be mentioned.

Yep, people from ND don’t pronounce Texas A&Ms mascot correct I found out. Most of my project team is “Eggie alumni”
