Without knowing the exact reason, this one has me stumped....kid enrolls early, is here for three months, then boom....gone. WTF? I mean, did he expect to walk onto campus and be Tre Dempsey from the get go?

Just a reminder - Howell was not eligible to play spring ball,
having just graduated from high school in December (early)
and being an early college enrollee. So there are many potential reasons he is in the transfer portal, perhaps we’ll find out later.

If we are worried about offers from Western Carolina, APSU and TN-Martin, we have big issues. I am kind of wondering why he was offered in the 1st place. He learned quick that he was not going to play. I wish him well.

Seems most likely to me. Transfer portal just provides more options to leave especially this season.
