What I saw was that a potential champ was hiding in plain sight. Not odds on favorite.

You're correct. The article was saying NDSU is the default number one, so who's got the best shot at being number two and maybe take them down as an underdog?

I always viewed UNI as a tough team with quality players but I feel like their overall quality of play has dropped off year over year.

Call me when they're 7-1, 8-0 and we can talk.

UNI regularly has some great players but rarely great teams.

9-2 Record losses to Iowa & NDSU. they win their last 7 heading into playoffs. only to choke in quarterfinals.. per usual.

if that 6 7 Elerson Smith could leave too, I wouldn't mind that :) (in Trey's Q & A on insta, someone asked him toughest Def player in MVFC was and Trey said his name within seconds.)

dude had 14 sacks and 21.5 TFL's and 5 Forced Fumbles NDSU missed on him. Minneapolis kid.
