The benchmarks have been set for the first four seasons in the MVFC:

- NDSU: 32-19, one losing season, 6 playoff wins, 1 national championship
- SDSU: 25-21, two losing seasons, 1 playoff appearance
- USD: 12-34, four losing seasons, 0 playoff appearances

Bubba will get 215k, "escalating" to 245k. Entz will make at least 424,500 next year.
