This may be a short thread. My picks are:

1) 71 yd TD by Cofield SDSU game
2) The play before that

Provide your picks and add honorable mentions to date.

The two penalties in the red zone last game that took 2 TDs off the board so then everyone would relax because we would have beat the team by 38 then.

Haha, idk I’m coming off of the flu and and just trying to have fun with it.

We haven't seen them yet.

Looking forward to it though.

Trey Lance’s first TD pass of his college career to Phoenix Sproles at Target Field. It showed the cupboard wasn’t empty at the QBs and WR positions, but rather full, jam pack full, of promising goodies.

Easton Stick's TD that more or less iced the Championship.

This is the only correct answer. ^^^^

I think you can throw the Hendricks pick at the goal line in the UC Davis game into the discussion.

How we forget so soon about this one. That kept the W on the board for the Bison.

Two friends of mine were the wing officials in that game. After play #2 I was going to send them a text giving them grief for a horrible spot (it was actually a good spot). Then when I saw the result of the next play I sent them a thank you for the spot because it triggered the next play call that likely wouldn't have happened if it was 1st and 10 rather than 4th and 1. SDSU would not have stacked the box expecting a QB sneak on 1st down leaving a void in the backfield once Cofield got through.

+1. First one I thought of. Was also going to say his TD run that game, but 4th & marker is better answer...

I just have one.....I'm tired...….the play where Cox was flagged for targeting that was reviewed and eventually overturned; that was big. Imagine this week having to play the first half without Jabril Cox ? No thank you......

1) Holding on the offense, 10 yard penalty. (TD does not stand)
2) Targeting call on 42 is reversed.

This is why I said “... to date.”

I believe the two most important plays are yet to happen. These final 3 games (hopefully, gotta win) will be the most challenging of the year, outside of SDSU, and possibly Davis.

I could also say:

1- The play that wins us the Semi-Final Game
2- The play that wins us the Championship Game

Couple of plays off the top of my head that were pretty significant.

1) Fake FG at Delaware. Really pissed off their fan base (beer tossed on the Bison team bench), guaranteed a win for us, showed us that Entz will do just about anything to win...I like that.
2) Goal line stand at SIU. Jimmy Football. Big point in the game, kept the perfect season in tact.

There is no such thing as the 2 most important plays in a years time!

I disagree. In a game of inches, one play can decide the fate of a season. *See Brock Jensen TD run on 4th & 3 against GSU in 2012*

From an outsiders perspective:

1. 4th down and inches touchdown run against SDSU
2. Goal line interception against UCD.

Had those two plays "not happened", NDSU could still very well be undefeated but also potentially not.
