I've saw a couple really good articles floating around the last day or so looking back on some on the incredible individual and team accomplishments from this undefeated regular season and the 33 game (and counting) win streak.

From Bison Report's Ross Uglem: The 10 wildest numbers from NDSU's undefeated regular season (https://247sports.com/college/north-dakota-state/ContentGallery/The-10-wildest-numbers-from-NDSUs-undefeated-regular-season-139260128/Amp/?__twitter_impression=true)

From the Forum's Mike McFeely: Comparing the Bison winning streaks by the numbers (and other stuff) (https://www.inforum.com/bison-media-zone/mens-sports/football/4783198-McFeely-Comparing-the-Bison-winning-streaks-by-the-numbers-and-other-stuff)

Check them out, they both had some really interesting content I thought.

You mean from the ads? I got one for "best laptop for seniors" (and I was in incognito mode) but nothing saucy.

Ads also depend on the WiFi you are using and the places others using the same WiFi visit.

"Trey Lance is the first quarterback in FCS history with at least 200 passing attempts and zero interceptions."

According to the most credible internet source available:

Most consecutive pass attempts without an interception
FBS: 444 – Colby Cameron, Louisiana Tech, 2011–12[1]
FCS: 342 – Jimmy Blanchard, Portland State, 1999[20]
Div II: 280 – Jesse Showerda, New Haven, 1996[39]
Div III: 305 – Brad Boyle, Coe, 2009[32]

Depending on how those are interpreted, it's entirely possible that Mr Blanchard had at least 1 interception during the season but after he had 342 pass attempts.

Yeah, but I was in "Incognito mode."

Pretty soon I'll be using Tor and NordVPN once my paranoia exceeds my inertia.

The first time you use TOR and hit a TOR server you are on several Government lists.
I would seriously advise you to go with a good VPN but do NOT use TOR or TOR servers.

Interesting stats! We'll see if Trey can break all of those too, eh?

I'm pretty sure the point of Ross' stat is that from the start of his career in FCS, no other player has made it to 200 passes without an interception. In other words, Jimmy Blanchard may have thrown a few picks before his streak started, while Trey's started when he first stepped on the field and hasn't ended yet.

In 1998, Blanchard led the nation in passing efficiency (167.6 rating) and in 1999 Blanchard set the NCAA record for most consecutive passes without an interception (342), when he threw 29 touchdowns with only three interceptions.

VMI's QB Reece Udinski actually broke Blanchard's FCS record this year. His last pass of 2018 was an INT and then he threw his first 368 passes of this year without an INT before throwing one in the 2nd half of their 9th game of the season.

He ended up throwing 4 INTs over their last 3 games after that... still pretty good to only have 5 INTs since he finished with 479 pass attempts on the season.

Both articles are great. As for the ads on Ross Ulgem, all I got were ads from The Red Cross, Merrill investments and colonial Williamsburg.

My favorite stat was this:

Here are the greatest D1 quarterbacking seasons in NDSU history by adjusted yards per average attempt.

Trey Lance '19 (so far) 12.1
Easton Stick '18 10.9
Steve Walker '07 10.8
Easton Stick '17 10.1
Brock Jensen '13 9.6
Carson Wentz '14 8.8

AY/A - adjusted yards per passing attempt: (pass yards + 20*(pass TD) - 45*(interceptions thrown))/(passing attempts). This stat was introduced, and the reasoning behind it thoroughly explained in a book called The Hidden Game of Football, by Bob Carroll, Pete Palmer, and John Thorn

am thankful for it.

We are lucky there for sure but it is a whole lot more than that. 1/2 sack allowed by our two tackles in 12 games? What??!! Weapons abound for Trey to distribute to.

That offense is so ridiculously good we don’t even talk about our defense - which as usual is stellar.

Through spring and summer my mind was pretty blank regarding expectations. I was hoping for a good year and that the youngsters would be getting it together for a deep playoff run. I can honestly say I expected nothing like what they have put out on the field. I am blown away. And as you say, very thankful for the efforts put forth by all those participants in this program.

I can easily roll with that. The problem that I have now is that I am greedy and want them to finish the job and take it all.

I’m right there with you. I don’t think you need to feel like you’re greedy though. It’s the Bison Football program who laid down the body of work and basically forced us to have these expectations. It’s their fault.

I bet their expectations are the same even if they won’t say it publicly.

McFeely is living walking garbage. I never click on anything from him. He uses NDSU when it is to his advantage and tears them down when it is to his advantage. Then brags online that he gets free tickets and items for his coverage.
