This past season, Lance was a key asset for the Tigers in all three phases of the game. As a wide receiver, he shattered records by setting the single-season mark at 873 yards, breaking the previous mark of 657 set by Skyler Stensrud in 2009 while also collecting 38 receptions and eight touchdowns. Lance also showcased his quickness on special teams, averaging 24.1 yards per punt return while tallying 289 total yards and three scores. On the defensive side of the ball, Lance led the team in interceptions with five while also forcing a fumble.

Keagan Johnson’s (6’ 1” 175 WR/CB/ATH) other offers include SDSU, Northern Illinois. Is the younger brother of Jackrabbit star WR Cade Johnson. Another older brother played for Wyoming and his Dad, Clester, played for the Cornhuskers.

iirc One article I read made it sound like part of this “hate” by Cade
came from being under recruited out of high school - NDSU did not offer.
Keagan Johnson also made it clear he would remember who recruited early and offered early. So doesn’t hurt to try. So that might help explain the early Bison offer, which NDSU does not do a lot of. He is getting more recruiting attention than Cade did, so definitely in the market for FBS. Already has that Northern Illinois offer and may be marketing himself for an early Cornhuskers offer (his Dad’s school).
Bottom line: if NDSU is his “best” offer, I’d like to think there is a chance.

Nothing... although if he's sitting on the bench his first 3 years in the program the chances of keeping him aren't super great. Wentz did it though (and Cole Davis did it for 5 years) so I'm not assuming he won't still be here by the time the starting job is open.... just speculating.

talking to his Mom/Dad couple weeks back, Bryce isn't going to commit anytime soon, gonna play out the process and see what offers come his way. Basketball might be his sport if he doesn't want to follow in his brothers footsteps... but Angie would love to see a Trey to Bryce Touchdown. (and before "the squad" comes after me, my Aunt & Trey's grandma grew up together & are best friends)

It’s nice he visited Fargo, but iirc he got a “surprise” 1st offer from Iowa.
So if it is commitable, will be tough to keep the 3 star ATH away from one of his dream schools...

DeJean led the Falcons to an undefeated, 13-0 record in 2019, that ended with the first State football championship in school history. The Junior racked up nearly 5-thousand all-purpose yards, which was the best in the state of Iowa. DeJean threw for 42 touchdowns and rushed for 24 more TD's in the 2019 season.

On a side note, at least NDSU coaches will have a relationship with these FBS players - in case they eventually transfer. With transfers more common, including out of Fargo, the Bison could be more likely to have immediate depth needs this could help with.
