A very needed injection of energy. The weird thing is, he's so over the top but not in a bad way. He's just out there having fun.

I'm thinking he is the replacement for Corso in 2020. Seems like Lee is close to the end and Pat is being groomed for the next step.

Was thinking about this. Wondering if they’ll continue to do the headgear bit with him or someone else after Corso goes...

I'd guess he'll have his own shtick...kind of like headgear, but not what Corso does. Acknowledge Corso, not copy.

I was thinking about that too. I think they’ll do some unique thing for the pick but leave the headgear deal with Corso. Kind of a fun way to end the show, the way they’ve done it.

Agree. Something to pay homage to Lee, but not totally rip him off either.

He should paint his chest with team colors or mascot something and the big reveal is him taking his shirt off.

He was a nut when he played for the Colts. Early in his career he was arrested for trying to get into a woman's car. He was naked because he had been swimming in a nearby canal (a body of water no sober person would ever consider entering).

After he retired he toyed with a stand-up career and by all accounts was pretty good. He then joined Barstool Sports but had a falling out with them. He's also done some WWE announcing.

He loves attention but uses it in good ways as well. He made an appearance on behalf of a HOSA group at our high school.

I think his over the top personality is more suited to the---yell at each other---over the top---sports show genre.

I enjoy the current format of each person telling his reasons for his opinion with alot of injected humor. There doesnt need to be the fake --OH MY GOD WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY????? Drama. Game Day doesnt need it and its better suited to WWE etc etc.

Big personality yes, fake outrage and argument for arguement sake no.

Also he is a great story teller with awesome timing and plenty of self deprecating humor.

Yeah I don’t think that’s his shtick, but he does give off a certain vibe so maybe he’s not the right fit.

I would expect David Pollack to step in and take Corso’s spot...he’s been with the program for 10 years and more so fits the personalities of the guys at the table. McAfee then gets Pollack’s role of contributor. That way they can have him do all his shenanigans without tilting the classiness of the show.

Corso is probably good for a few more years doing just the final pick and headgear bit at the end of the show.

I don't know. He's sounding really rough. The others are helping him when he forgets something or goes off track, but I think this season should be the end. Would rather see him go out on a high note, rather than watch him be propped up just to get through a segment or two.

Just watched Chris Mortensen on NFL Live the other day. He's also starting to show his age in a bad way.
- Just looked it up: he's been dealing with stage IV throat cancer for the last four years. That explains that.

And Corso had a bad stroke a few years ago so I give him a lot of props for coming back from that.

Herbie has been great with Corso for a few years now. Always quick to jump in to help Lee refocus on his thought. I hope when Corso does hang it up they hang up the head gear with him. That's his thing and it wouldn't be the same if someone else tries.

If you've ever seen any of his videos on his youtube channel, it's not partying, it's working. He's on a plane several times a week and seems to be working on very little sleep all the time.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=9&v=24nv1HbAaFIHe loves to party when he was with the Colts. I've shared before the time he was arrested at 4 in the morning wearing no clothes after swimming in a filthy canal near a night club area. That's a different level of partying.

I think he's a very talented entertainer though and should have a very long career after football if he stays focused on work.

I'm sure that was the case when he was with Barstool or his podcast with his friends but he's on TV a ton between his DAZN show, NFL Network, and ESPN. I don't know when he has time to party anymore.

I really like this guy. His name's Matthew Mercer and he's a voice actor for TV and video games(McCree in Overwatch - "It's high noon"). This was filmed about six years ago when the ghost pepper was still the hottest easily available pepper. As he says in the video, he had never even had a jalapeno before this. The premise of the show is that the guest must eat a pepper or spoonful of sauce(intensity depends on what the guest will agree to) and then give a video game review on a game they know. They get style points for a coherent review and holding out as long as possible.
