I was worried the proposed format was just going to be war stories, which I enjoy in limited quantity, as it can turn into guys reliving their glory days. However, the stories share like how the Iowa St center was owning him until he got hurt were excellent. Then, going through a bunch of the big games for the week and picking the lines was fantastic. Nate has true radio talent......he has a future in the talk medium if he continues to explore it.

You can use http://getrssfeed.com (http://getrssfeed.com/) to pull the rss feed from the playlist once it has it's own playlist. Otherwise you could use it to pull all of Bison1660 into one RSS feed

That's what that RSS feed does, pull all of them down. There aren't too many and you can download whatever you want. It worked for me just fine.

Every week I learn something new. This week I learned that Nate Tanguay doesn't really know anything about college football and Kyle Emanuel lives in Cole Jirik's basement.
Another good show this week. A couple things I found interesting:
1) Nate would not have committed here if they didn't play indoors.
2) Cole brought up how big of an impact the home crowd being loud has on the opposing offense when he was talking about the new difficulties UC Davis will face that they haven't had to deal with yet (even at Cal). Means more for me to hear that come from a player who played in it for 4 years.

Nate has surprisingly little knowledge of the college football landscape outside of NDSU and the teams NDSU typically plays. Cole put him on the spot this week and asked him who the Quakers were since Delaware just played them and he had no clue. It's good radio comedy though... he's very Power Trip-ish throwing out takes mostly for entertainment value moreo than with any deep thought behind them. There's nothing wrong with that either... he doesn't hide the fact that he's throwing darts. It's better than what JJ does on the Insiders acting like some overall FCS guru (who has a massive NDSU and MVFC bias).

It would be nice if Nate did just a little more research. He doesn't have to be an expert but he his football landscape knowledge is very low. I do love his unfiltered takes. Was surprised and had similar questions/thoughts as you appear to have. Show had a bit of a more refined feel to it. Tanguay is great and I love him, but his “I hate those guys and those guys suck” bit gets a little repetitive at times. Would love for him to play the part of the engineer who chimes in occasionally.

Sounded like to me he simply could not do the show that day. I did not have the impression this was a permanent switch, but yes, Kyle knows a lot more about football than Nate. With that said, last week, Nate was much better and had appeared to have done a little more homework. He really could be a natural at radio combining his "you suck" mentality with actual football knowledge.
