This kids got some pretty good potential. 6-5 is a good deal and he is a legit 6-5 by looking at the video. Certainly athletic for his size and is a solid basketball player. He ran a 12.69 100 meter as a 10th grade kid. Curious how we would use him. I'm thinking a pass catching TE or possibly as a WR. 6-5 is a heck of a mismatch. Question is can he block or learn it? Disnt see any on his highlights. Like most players hes a project with some great upside

Probably wont be able to to run past a D1 corner but at 6-5, he won't have to. Red zone matchups could be pretty laughable. But at TE, good luck having a linebacker cover him downfield on play action. Then again the same could be said about every TE on our roster

One of the few commits I've seen live in HS. Great body control and ball awareness, actually made me think of Randy Moss, without the speed, watching him. Makes catching deep balls look easy.

Ratchenski is 85-of-113 passing for 1,429 yards. His top target is another big body, 6-foot-6, 215-pound Andre Carrier (41 catches-765 yards).


As always, never know about height/weight measurements of high school players until they get to campus, but as a comparison Andre Carrier was listed at 6’ 5” 190 when his recruiting was 1st written about......
But either way, he has nice size for a flex TE, or, perhaps a tall WR, or both, depending on where the coaches position him.
