......Last season Dekkers led all classes in passing with 3,641 yards, 614 more than his nearest competitor. He threw 48 TD passes and 10 interceptions while completing 61 percent of his throws. Dekkers, who stands 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, rushed for 574 yards. In the Class 1A state championship game he threw for 391 yards and five TDs and rushed for 122 yards and a score.

“His arm strength is his best asset, no doubt,” Schwiesow said. “He can throw the ball 76 yards in the air. There are a lot of kids who have good accuracy and good touch, but can you stand on the right hash and throw a 15-yard out to the left hash? That’s a next-level through, and Hunter makes that throw all the time.”......

Also worth noting that K-State could really start to impact UNI, SDSU and NDSU a bit with Kleiman there. Maybe UNI a bit more than NDSU and SDSU given our long history of pulling kids from the KC metro (especially Lee's Summit and Blue Springs). Snyder never really seemed to hit that area and UNI benefited. I'm seeing kids in areas that were almost never hit by KSU showing KSU interest now.

This may be a short term thing as if K wants to get KSU to a top of the B12 level he can't be grabbing UNI/NDSU/SDSU recruits to build his roster longer term. They can make great depth guys, but he'll need to stretch out more to really win I think.

Marquette (WI) 2020 OL Sean Timmis has received an offer from Buffalo. Former UW-Whitewater coach Lance Leipold, who has Bulls trending way up, has offered several #wisfb players over last few years and really wants to get some to head to upper New York State.

Approximately 30 offers out, probably less offers than most, if not all FCS teams.
I like to check in on certain recruiting areas that NDSU historically recruits,
so when a name starts to look like a prospect the Bison would be interested in, I’ll check their twitter feed and see if there is a NDSU connection. If there is, or if 247 or Rivals list them as a NDSU interest, that is why I’ll describe them as a NDSU interest. Bottom line - I’m on the lookout for players I think could be offered by NDSU at some point.

Just checked SDSUfans.com - they show 57 offers - an approximate number - could be higher.
Some of their offers, like with NDSU, could be eliminated as real possibilities due to a player already committing, or having multiple FBS offers. But I would guess the Jackrabbits are on the lower side of offers extended also for a FCS school, being a strong program.

Any recruit has to fit the position they are looking at recruiting them for. Example, if the kid is a WR and we already have 2 recruits for that and 6 on the team well then maybe the kid is not needed at that position and we are full. Still would be nice to have him but the position group is full. Maybe the kid wanted to go to UND more based on his course of study. For any fan base to boost that they recruited the state the best or got the best kids from the state is just about stupid of an argument you can have. Time will flush all this out when the student athletes career is over at the school. A coaching staff needs to recruit the best student athletes that fit what they want to do. Instate or out of state. Best student athlete available that fits your system.
