Excited for this announced game! I'm also personally looking forward to the Delaware game....I needed an excuse to get out to the east coast for a vacation. Never been to DC, Maryland, Philly, etc. Gonna be an epic 2 weeks with a Bison game smacked dab in the middle!

North Carolina A&T went 10-2 in 2018 and won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference for the fourth time in five seasons. The Aggies have won three of the four Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl games including a 24-22 win over Alcorn State in 2018.

N.C. A&T has been ranked 26 straight weeks in the STATS FCS Top 25 and in the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll for 49 consecutive weeks. The Aggies are 22-2 over the past two seasons and have beaten an FBS opponent each of the past three years – Kent State in 2016, Charlotte in 2017 and East Carolina in 2018.

I see on the HBCU board they are complaining that "NDSU won't leave the dome and drag themselves to the South in the summer." They have mentioned that on almost every team we played from those conferences. I am not sure the athletic directors for those schools would like to give up the payday for a home and home.

The problem with the FCS home/home deals is that they don't work into our scheduling goals. Jeremy has consistently stated our goal is to have 1 FBS game and 6 home games. In 11 game years this means we cannot go to an FCS school or if we do, cannot have an FBS game. Hence why we are going to Delaware this year in a 12 game season. The next 12 game season is not until 2024. Jeremy stated his number one priority now is getting an FBS game for 2021.

2) NDSU has allowed a paltry 209 total points to those 12 FBS teams.


3) NDSU has outscored FBS opponents in the 4th quarter by a margin of 69-27...……..69 to 27!!!! Yeah, FBS teams averaged just over 2 points in the 4th quarter over 12 games!

I think the FCS Kickoff is now owned by ESPN and they have a multi-year deal signed with the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama to host it. I'd rather see NDSU cut out the middleman (ESPN) and work directly with the MSFA. I'm not sure they really are. I believe that info came from the A&T message board which also said they were getting 350k and it turns out they're only getting 240k so that information about the A&T band coming on NDSU's dime may also be bad.

Agreed. The NDSU band had to more or less pay its own way to go to Iowa, I can't imagine why we would pay that much to drag their band up here and back.

NDSU is now paying G5 rates for our guarantee games. That's well over half of what we're getting from Oregon next year. Not complaining - glad we can still get both type of game.

According to a poster on AGS their marching band is "only" about 170 so the normal visitors section should be big enough I'd think.. The only way I can think of that they could have spots for the band plus the normal number of visitor seats is if they'd reserve part of the upper north endzone usually set aside for single game sales for visitor seats as well.

Having just moved to the South I can confirm that bands are a really big deal. I can't say that I understand all the hype, but at the high school football games I went to this fall, I think there were more people in the stands at halftime to watch the band than there were watching the actual game.
