Minnesota hasn’t really had a NBA team since they left.

UCLA dynasty from 1964 to 1975 is still the most impressive sports feat.

10 titles in 12 years
7 titles in a row from 1967 to 1973
88 game winning streak from 1971 to 1974

Freaking unbelievable

Yep, it's the gold standard when one thinks "dynasty." It was truly amazing what they did.

Well actually Goldberg was more of a Thursday thunder guy but yeah he was on nitro too. Sting should have beat Goldberg but that dam Hollywood Hogan and Bishop messed up the match.

I was on the bad side of (read: disgruntled loser to) a dynasty for the Tuesday Night Dart League at the Bison Turf (part of the time temporarily and dishonorably named "The Fun Company") for several years during college. It was part of the reason why I eventually had to leave town. The competition was just too strong.

Alabama showed that when a dynasty gets complacent...

The band or the college football team?

I’m not sure the latter is done, but Garth Brooks did a number on the former. Regardless, both were great during their peak(s).

I believe JMU used the same train of thought when they ended NDSU’s streak in 2016.

They've won every conference title since 1992 too. That said, I like NDSU's 12-2 record in NCAA championship games more than Mount Union's 13-8. :)

Seems like every year, we've played teams that were on the verge of becoming a dynasty. Even after we've beaten them, they were all destined to come back and start their own long string of championships.........Sam Houston, Jacksonville State, Illinois State, James Madison and now Eastern Washington. At least Towson seemed to understand they were a one horse team and not likely to return.

They were awesome during my time at NDSU. I can't believe they went downhill, while the Men's program actually had success being that they lost to Concordia during that same time span.
