Cordell Volsen.

He is the future of the O-line but he isnt a starter yet. So I assume you meant Tanner Volson

Oops yes. You are correct.

That performance yesterday by the entire OL was something to behold. They'll face tougher front 7s moving forward and the holes might not get as big but they need to lock that execution in. Beautiful.

if you have not yet, go back on ESPN3 and watch them beat the ever loving shit out of the bobcats

then watch the RB's shake and bake the second and third level defenders, most the Bobcat defense left their Jockstraps on the field, its truly a fun watch for anyone that appreciates good blocking and Backs that allow their Fat guys to develop those blocks.

Brook's early run where he goes down at the 1. There are 4-5 bobcats who over purse and look ridiculous when he cuts back.

Pretty dominant on Sat. I think Brooks has best vision of all of our backs too

I'm looking forward to seeing what Seth Wilson can do, if the coaches put him in this year.

That was a vicious cut. As Ross Uglem noted #41 just dropped to his ass.

He was injured for awhile and the coaches have been saving him for the playoffs and the 4 game rule so he can still redshirt this year. I know they said he got hurt last week during practice so maybe won't play this week

Yeah they said he tweaked something. Sounded to me like a good reason to have him not dress simply because he wasn't needed. Now he has "full eligibility" for the remainder of the games.

Yep, I think he was healthy enough to play the last 2 games but the coaches wanted to bank his last 3 games they had left to still maintain his redshirt. However, with as well as Anderson, Dunn, and Brooks are playing he might be relegated to garbage time at this point. He sure did look explosive against Missouri St though.

As for the best O-lineman I think T Volson and Z Johnson have had the best years. I'd expect them both to get some All-America mentions. I think Dillon Radunz and C Volson probably have the most potential though.

The depth of the O-line group is so good that it is hard to pick standouts.

Exactly... they work as a unit and the excel as a unit.

Tanner Volson is an absolute stud.

Question for next year: who are the young guys that will take over inside? Cordell Volson has been getting some time at RG so assume he plugs in there. What about LG and C? Nash Jensen or Kubas, and Schoening? Any of the redshirts like Schreiber gonna be ready?

T Volson.
He has had the most solid season in quite some time. I think some of our other guys have shown a few weaknesses in pass protection at times to get the highest accolades

He's good, IMO Cofield and Wilson have great vision as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Seth Wilson can do, if the coaches put him in this year.

I think some of his amazing skills are already quite evident. He has elite hands and extraordinary balance. He can run with power like a guy twenty pounds heavier.

I seriously, really, really hope they move him to the Darrius Shepherd role next year. Cofield is looking superb at RB and Brooks is back for his senior year, and then, their is the advent of the Saybein Clark era.

I know it isn't likely. They love their committee; on the other hand, if Clark shows up next fall at about 220 and is looking like the next David Johnson, could happen, especially if Trey Lance wins the QB job and is taking a lot of the rush snaps himself as well.

I'm just saying, why not get your best talent on the field as often as reasonable. Sorry folks, but Phoenix Sproles is not the answer to anything. Again, sorry, but Seth is just a vastly superior player. Maybe, if Sproles gets in a productive redshirt year in 2019 it may be a different story.

Biggest problem the Bison have going forward is finding playing time for all their talent. That recruiting class coming up is ridiculous. They may have a few freshman forcing their way into playing time as well next year. It's getting ludicrous.

Giving up on him after being 5th on the depth chart as a true freshman? Seems a little early. He will spend his first full offseason (January through July) with Kramer and the strength staff. I think its way to early to say he is not the answer to anything. I feel like his body type is very similar to Shepherds. I feel like he could thrive in the slot, like Shep does with another year in the Bison system.

Since this thread is about the offensive line, the O-line makes all of those backs look real good.

Being that he did the same to Grimsley his Freshman season, I expect Sproles to excel for the rest of his Bison playing days.

Grimsley is a pud safety who couldn’t cover a candle and couldn’t tackle a retarded goat with lead boots.

Oh wait, he’s a 4 year starter, and finished 9th in the cou try in voting for defensive player of the year?
