So a Junior got freshman of the year. Got it!!Ha ha! Maybe they should have called him II instead of Junior, eh? Less confusing that way?

Pretty cool. You’d think being undefeated would get you coach of the year but the turnaround ISU-b had was pretty remarkable.

Mallory deserved it, ISU is a hard place to recruit and with his limited funding/support it takes a good coach and staff

How awesome of an asset has Wegner been?

A good punting game is underappreciated by most, but not by us. It's incredibly relieving to know we have someone who can make the opposing offenses work a bit more to score against NDSU.

I have a feeling that the Bison have about 6 first-to-second team MVFC caliber D-lineman but because they rotate so much they don't get the numbers to attract the votes so only Menard gest the recognition based mostly on his career accomplishments.

I will second this. It is so nice not to sit there holding my breath every time we punt. Of course not punting at all would be ok too

It's also worth noting that of the 19 guys recognized for NDSU 10 will be back next year. The cupboard will be far from bare.

Agreed, there is something to be said for a year of "unknown" after so many years of great QB play. As for Wegner, yes!!!!!
