30 pt favorites ... Like I said in the game day thread NDSU would fall at least 2 spots. Question is do they fall below Kennesaw and/or Eastern Washington? I wouldn't out then there but again we've seen shit like this happen to NDSU.

I'm surprised that they're playing today - seems like every gets an extra 3-7 days to prepare for NDSU.

more importantly..JMU is in the NDSU bracket for now. Id say Fargo and Brookings are the hosts barring SDSU doesnt trip on their dicks somewhere down the road which they do more often than not.

This was posted earlier today on the Dukes' Domain, the James Madison football fan board, by a guy with the handle "PURPLE". PURPLE is obviously currently choking on his words, along with a bunch of purple streamers.

"This is going to be another brutal whipping! ... The Dukes should be up by 40 at the half. I predict the final score to be 59-10, Dawgs. Our offense could easily take the score into the 70s for this one, but I expect them to let off the gas in the 50s, with the second and third teams coming in late for mop-up, and they are likely to score too."

EWU did what it did today with back-up QB. Gubrud did not play. I wouldn’t sleep on them—reminding me of us a lot of late. I think the back-up QB had a 90-yard or so TD run with lots of moves (similar to Stick).

I see them being the #2 seed in the playoffs and losing in the quarters or semis due to bad weather killing their explosive offense.

Since Frisco, I have a couple of DUKE friends who text whenever they (or the Bison) are playing.
One said, JMU should have won. They other said, Elon is a very good team, & JMU had an off day on offense.
He also said JMU had several dropped passes and one fumble at the wrong time.

At 31, we gave up more points to UNI than we ever have in the division 1 era, yet our margin of victory was nearly 2x the previous best win, and on the road.

NDSU has now won 8 of the previous 9 matchups against UNI (lone loss 3-23). The separation appears to be growing despite it always being a hard fought game

I've said it before, I take responsibility for that loss. That was the weekend that I moved from Minot back to FM. I was busying packing up last minute things and cleaning so I didn't wear my normal Friday Bison polo. I also was unable to watch the game as that was when we were doing the actual moving.

Same with sdsu. Youngstown, northern Iowa, and isu-red will all be interesting games for them.

I don't know a lot about the CAA but I wonder if JMU even plays anyone capable of beating them the rest of the way. Not necessarily because they are so good(maybe they are I don't know) but from what I have been hearing and reading there isn't much to test them on their schedule from here on out.

Yeah, JMU's schedule is actually pretty tough. Kinda like NDSU last year their conference schedule is backloaded. Their remaining games are @Nova, vs Stony Brook, @UNH, vs Rhode Island, @Towson. All those teams are currently ranked (at least they should be) except UNH but UNH has their starting QB back who was injured in their season opener and their offense went in the tank without him. Towson is the best of them IMO.

I realize that SDSU has already moved up to #2 but with a loss in one week and having go to overtime to win over a team that was winless last year the next and they move UP??? BTW, Indiana State's offense looked very good in the game or was SDSU's defense that bad?

BTW, Indiana State's offense looked very good in the game or was SDSU's defense that bad?I watched the whole game. SDSU's defense looked bad against the pass...really bad. Indiana St struggled in their running game...especially in short yardage situations. SDSU was their own enemy on offense as well. Indiana St only stopped them when SDSU would go conservative. SDSU even pulled out a fake field goal for a td. Seemed weird at the time they felt they needed to use that play against Indiana St.

No but it's great for NDSU considering they have that dominant win over Delaware in their back pocket. Honestly at this point considering EWU's loss today as well I think the Bison could lose and still be the #1 team in the country.

Elon lost it’s QB in the 1st quarter with a knee injury. “The initial prognosis isn’t great,” (Coach) Cignetti said of Cheek’s status.”
Will be interesting to see how Elon responds to this, what kind of depth do they have etc.
Their star RB did not play either. (hamstring injury)

Yes, their star RB got injured at the end of the JMU game. When their QB got hurt in the 1st quarter, they were without two key players. That's tough. I sure hope their QB is able to come back, but it doesn't sound good.
