It has been a long two weeks! Happy that football is back today.

I went and watched their first game of the season versus Southern Utah. They’re a confident, cocky group of young men that don’t quit easily. This is strong culture that will help them in the near future, but not today as this is a bad match-up for them.

NDSU’s front seven will be huge issues for their offense that relied on either short passes or for their QB to take off for huge runs. On defense, they did well if the RBs moved along the line of scrimmage, but constantly gave up big yards if the RBs ran straightforward. Stopping NDSU’s Power-Run is going to have them worn out by halftime.

Much respect the UNA... they are the type of team that should be moving in the FCS. But today, after the success they have seen over the past two weeks, they learn a new lesson... how to get humbled. The Wolf Pack feast's on UNA's pass happy offense, and takes a couple in for Pick 6's. The running backs have another incredible day, providing plenty of game day highlights. Finally, the passing game starts to emerge.

No self respecting player gets intimidated look for UNA to come in and be impressed by the crowd and the whole event but not intimidated. This game is like a Super Bowl for them and they want to make a good showing even if it is not in the way of a win.

Easton Stick is a far better player than most on this board ever were, in case any complainers used to play?

He isn't where we expect him to be but they have not played enough to find a rhythm yet. The receiving Corp is not helping this either, but we will see.
