One thing I've noticed is that these recruits almost always say they are furthering their academic and athletic futures in that order, whereas I've also noticed at another school that it is usually the other way around. I'm not sure it counts for anything, just an observation I've made.

......As juniors – the twins both started for the Panthers’ defense. Will primarily at defensive tackle and Eli at linebacker and defensive end......
......Over the years they have developed different strengths.

“We have the same body type,” Will explained. “I am a little quicker than him. He is a little stronger than me.”......

......They expect at some point one of them will get an offer or offers the other will not. At this point, the brothers are not focused on whether they want to stay together past high school.

“We haven’t talked about it,” Eli said. “It would be fine either way.”

I think he meant that they hadn't discussed it as in, "Hey, let's go to college together" or "Wouldn't it be cool to play against eachother." I think they are just trying to leave their options open rather than locking themselves in. Asserting their individual identity rather than never talking to one another about a major decision in their lives.
