Game decided by a big play or two, perhaps a turnover or a big play on special teams. *I look for NDSU to open the playbook and play much better than the last road game. *Cal Poly is tough. *If the oline can keep Walker standing up and Gocong out of the backfield we'll be okay. *

This game could go either way. *I like the Bison in a tight 24-14 game. *A late field goal by Vartanian puts the game out of reach. *

I am 100% sure that this game will be won by the team in green and gold. Which teams that is still remains to be seen. I agree that this will be a tight game that may turn on 1 or 2 big plays or turnovers and could go either way. I do not see either team winning by a big margin and it not being decided until late in the 4th quarter.

Cal Poly 24
NDSU 21

I think the outcome depends on which NDSU road team shows up. If the team that beat UC Davis on the road last year and man-handled NW St this year shows up then I say NDSU 24-21 in a close one. If its the team that went to Brookings last year or MT St this year then is Cal-Poly 24-10.

3-2, that's classic. And oddly enough, totally possible.

If the BISON win it will be a ball control type game. That gives them 2 long drives minimum for scores or 4 max. Throw in a field goal or two and your looking at NDSU putting up anywhere from 17 - 31 pts. If the Mustangs muster their typical 28 its going to put a little pressure on the BISON to get everything they can.

24-21 NDSU

I am going to guess 19-17 Bison. A great punt by Drago pins Cal-Poly near its goal line and the Bison Defense gets a safety for the win.

Heartbreaker 15 - 14 with Cal Poly getting two second half touchdowns and a 2-point conversion to clinch it. :'(

I also predict that Cal Poly will not vandalize your buffalo wagon and burn your flags. :-X

OK since all you NDSU fans are playing it tight I predict NDSU 31, Cal Poly 17. If NDSU's offense does not show up the score could be the other way around.

NDSU 17
Poly 14

Great game, defensive battle

We need to get momentum early (even if we don't score) and keep it close. I could tell on the opening drive at MSU that we would lose-just had bad karma after the interception and TD. Need to stay out of that situation!!

Bison fans, 3 point margin? The only way Cal Poly won the game last year was because Stauss threw the game away with an interception. I think the Bison show up with a game they have been saving for this point in the season. No way is Poly going to walk away with the conference title. Time to show the west coast wine sippers some Midwest toughness. Bison by at least 10.

I think there's a surprise waiting in this game, won't be that close. Could go either way but, obviously, I'm hoping it works in our favor: Bison 27-7.

I said it on another thread, Bison 24 Poly 14. Bison defense too tough for the Mustangs.

Well apparently it was the team that went to brookings and MT state. I guess I have to keep in mind that before this year started I was a pessimest. I thought that the Bison lost too many starters on the o-line and on the defensive front to consistantly win in these big road games. The NW St game got me thinking that maybe we are just reloading and that the drop off isn't that great. But after consecutive road losses to quality teams, it's obvious that we are not at that point yet. This is not a dis, it's just that truth. We have 2 more road games, 1 of them I would classify as tough. Since it's the last game of the year maybe they will surprise me, but I wouldn't be surprised if the game against S. Ill is a repeat of the Cal-poly game.

I was actually right! I said the BISON would win with a ball control game, they didnt have one and they lost. ::)
