As prices start to escalate for season tickets, I'm curious what folks are willing to pay.

I would spend up to a grand. I pay less than that now but I also make donations.

If my ticket request gets filled I'm getting snipped.

Depends on the seats. 500 seems alright considering you fetty 6 home games. 2/3 of which have the potential to be competitive.

I have a question as I'm not as I'm looking at joining Team Makers and starting the journey towards season tickets one way. (Right now I can get through fathers points/ tickets when i can get back to fargo) Is there a yearly 1500 team maker fee + the cost of tickets. or a one time 1500ish fee to get your season ticket "reservation" and then yearly the cost of tickets. I'm sure I worded that poorly but a clarification would be much appreciated.

Thanks

The seat fees are an annual charge.

Depending on where the seat is located there will be a TM donation every year per seat. Then you will also have the cost of the season tickets.

So far, 81% of respondents wouldn't pay what lower 16 is going to cost.

But 19% would and that is more than enough to fill the lower 16.

Doesn't surprise me - honestly I figured the U-Z rows will be the first to go.

Well not really:

Sections A-T = 20 Rows * 18 Seats/row = 360 seats. 360 seats * $1682 = $605,520 = 54%
Sections U-Z = 6 Rows * 18 Seats/row = 108 seats. 108 seats * $732 = $79,056 = 16%
Sections AA-KK = 11 Rows * 18 Seats/row = 198 seats. 192 seats * $557 = $110,286 = 29%

The most expensive seats comprise 54% of the new seats available.

Of course this isn't even close to a representative distribution of seats or of the general population of season ticket buyers or new season ticket buyers or current season ticket buyers that are looking to move either to more expensive seats or less expensive seats.

It is just a silly exercise... Bisonville probably isn't a great representation of the average NDSU football fan.

Full Discloser, I have no idea if the seat numbers above are correct or not, I grabbed them from the season ticket thread...

It’s more like 270, not 360. Minus 4 full rows for suites and three other rows are 10 or 11 seats, not 18.

This is really going to come down to----you wanted tickets? Put your money where your mouth is. We have heard for some time about all of the people waiting for tix. BUT the question is----will they step up to the plate?????

I know how much I am willing to pay for tickets because I already have seat at the table. A lot easier for me to say I wouldn't pay over X for tickets when I already have them in hand. For those that have wanted in for years, they might surprise themselves on how much they will pay when they get the call.

The end zone season tickets only require the minimum $100 Team Makers dues. The required annual donation goes up as you go into better seats.

But how many folks, even if they've been waiting for awhile, can cough up $3400 for two seats if they get the call?

It's just assumed that folks are willing to pay up no matter what the cost.

I would pay, lets say $5000 to TM to get my PP up to 133. This would not guarantee me season tickets however. That is why am I hesitant to donate that much to TM. No guarantee, and that is a LOT of money for me.

Like it has been said a few times this will give us a much better feeling for true demand of tickets.

If they are having a harder time selling these higher end seats it's not out of the realm of possibility that they put some on a graduated plan to get them to their needed donation over a few years.

So if this section doesn't fill up like some think will they become Single game sale tickets to the public or back to the students I wonder

I wouldn't mind paying for the tickets, but it's paying a huge up front free to get enough points so you can buy the tickets that doesn't exactly work. I upped my donation this year but I'm not holding my breath waiting for the call. It'll be single game tickets again this year, but at least we get more tickets for donating more.

This will be interesting. There is a limit to how many people can afford this.....BUT, there aren't that many new seats and I suspect at least some will want to improve on their existing seats, opening up some of the cheaper ones so I think it'll happen.

I'd pay for decent seats but am so low in points that it's a non-issue. And the amount I'd have to pay to get points up in time would pay for a helluva lot of tickets floating in the tailgate lot on game day. Maybe in 10 years if another section opens up I can make a try but gotta pay those loans.

I'll pay to keep the tickets and I'll keep going to the games. But when we start getting into the 6-700dollar range for 2 end zone tickets in row T... for a pud home schedule, I'd probably just start selling my tickets and just go to the good games.

Uniformed question for the group. On he teamakers form for ticket requests it just asks how many you want and additional comments. Do you put the section you want( which really means team makers cost you're willing to pay) in the comments and they'll call and work with you on whats available??

You just put the requested amount of tickets...then wait for a phone call. The important part is getting that phone call. If you have a phone call - that means you're in. No phone call = shit outta luck.

What? Are we having a reverse auction on end zone seats?

"Do I have $100, who will give me $100?" "Now $50, who will give me $50?" "Alright $25 . . ." "Sold for $25 to the fellow in green with the furry hat and horns."

I don’t think it would hurt to do so, as that info may allow ticket office to consider other options for you that may result from moves current ticket holders may make or that otherwise may open up as part of this entire process.

Depending on what my brother wants to do, I'm planning one way or another requesting 1 ticket and contingent on being able to relocate it next to my other ticket if they both can be in the endzone, if the trickle down even gets that far. I don't know if I'll do it if it ends up in Sec 16 as I already pay over $1000 for my two in Sec 21.

Likely not going to happen as I'm way lower than most on this board even. But figure possibility a single may slip through somehow.... see what happens. I think the key will be how many teammakers there are that are non season ticket holders above you that will jump on the opportunity just to snag a couple? I could see lower section not entirely filling in as being most probably aren't going to cough up the $3000/seat. But not that they couldn't be filled in the future by those big donors who come in late to the game either.

I put in what section I want tickets in. I know I limited my chances but that is the only section I want seats in.
