The KFAN radio personalities have probably mocked the U of MN 100,000x more than they've mocked NDSU.

Not sure I can really remember PA mocking NDSU, he has made some dumb comments I guess but the guy isn't exactly well versed on the college game. He eats, sleeps and breathes the NFL.

My favorite fargo flash being an idiot is his claim that ndsu has hosted game day twice because a higher up in espn is a Fargo native.

Also during kills last year he kept claiming that the gophers had the hardest schedule in the country after a few weeks of this claim I called in to tell him that sagarin had the gophers sos in the high fortys and he just replied "what does sagarin know". Cant argue against that logic.

After college I lived in Oregon for a few years and the sports radio station had a segment that had something to do with the "biggest homer play by play call" or aonethibg similar title. During the favre season pa went on a win streak that ndsu football would be proud of.

Actually KFAN is fairly supportive of NDSU. Chris Hawkey retweeted NDSU's tweet regarding 14 championships..

Plus as a Vikings fan, there is little doubt that we will make it to the Super bowl this year. Why? Because the most effective way for God to collectively give us the middle finger is to get us to the Super Bowl in our home stadium, and then have us lose to the Jaguars or something. I actually expect Hershel Walker to come out of retirement and run for 125 and 2 TDs during the game. Gary Andersen will probably show up to kick the game winning field goal in overtime.

Pretty sure that the tommy o liedner/ndsu comment was a bit sort of. Because not very many weeks before that it was raised that he'd never gotten a comment into the preposterous statement tournament. And that nobody on power trip had won in awhile. Then right after he said it they all were like that is a presposterous statement nomination of they ever heard one...

I heard Klieman on the way into work and I didn't find anything demeaning or snobbery. PA has always given props to NDSU including their win over wisc and Marquette and Oklahoma. JG on berriero has given ndsu a lot of airtime too.

I think sometimes we have this weird mental state that those that should be all up on the goofs talking about us in any manner gets our panties in a bunch over. Either way it is not that important.

As mentioned fargo flash has always had a more they're div II/IAA type comment about NDSU(see this tweet https://twitter.com/JustinConzemius/status/949820493879758848 ). He's a college football geek he knows better. So I never got that about him, maybe just likes being a jerk towards nd and Fargo? Maybe I'm just taking that wrong.

The bit thing is certainly a possibility . Tommy actually seems to be catching onto the radio bit fairly well, where you take a part of your personality and turn it up to 11. He has the "bro, wet behind the ears, ex-football player" vibe figured out.

I'm still just the slightest bit disappointed that Culhane didn't let out a "My oh my!" in an homage to Scottie. But I'm sure it would've probably a bit awkward for him especially since there seems to be a bit of a rivalry between him and Scottie's old buddies at FCC. I had to pull up some old highlight reels from Scottie to blast after we got back out to the tailgate lot after the game.... he would've had some great calls in that game I'm sure.

There probably was a "My oh my" or two coming down from on high though. :)

There are always those who feel it would be disrespectful. Mcfooly would probably have an article slamming him about it and trying to rile up people to get pub. It's a fine line and I'm sure he doesn't want to disrespect Scottie.

Phil kinda did late in the game. After a big play(maybe that last JMU drive in the red zone?), Jeff said something like, "oooh my". Phil said something like, "a good friend of mine that used to sit next to me would have said my oh my." It was completely spontaneous and very nice. I don't know if there's any way to listen to old radio broadcasts like you can with the ESPN feeds to get the exact quote.
