The Bison Women's BB team hits the road for their first road trip of the year. A two day tourney in Annapolis MD. They will play Navy on Saturday at 2:15 and sunday at noon. Games are on Bison1660 or 92.7FM. Stay hot ladies. Go Bison

Navy is 4-0 this season. Wins over Marist, Rider, Norfolk State & Air Force.
Navy was a preseason pick to finish 4th in the Patriot League (of 10).
Coach Walseth was an assistant coach at Navy for 3 years, starting in 2004.
I believe that was her first assistant job after her pro career.

Women down 10 still in first half. Not rebounding well. Second chance points are killing us. We're down 15 so have narrowed it a bit. Come on ladies. Go Bison.

Women down 37-29 at halftime. Playing better and limiting second chance points after a bad start with them.

Down 13 headed to 4th. Rebounding continues to kill us. Rebounding is about effort and will. Come on ladies get this corrected. Only 9 tirnovers so that is good.

As the navy play by play guy said. This ndsu team is not a 6 win team like last year. They have some talent

Although losing they are playing good basketball

I went to the UMass game and yes they are a improved team. I think they will do alright this year.
