Thanks to whoever put FCS rankings into wikipedia! Looks like they go back to 2004 so I'm trying to figure out how to update the Bisonville Fan Guide to show the rankings somehow.

Anyway, here is a list of teams who played more than two ranked teams this year (I haven't checked it for accuracy but I just noticed that JMU isn't on this list so I'm going to check into that.)

That's correct. The only currently ranked team in either the STATS or Coaches poll that they've played has been UNH. Delaware should be ranked but they're not in either of those two polls.

Where's all the big Sky schools like Weber St., Northern Arizona or Eastern Washington? Were they left off or don't they play anybody?

I'm using the rankings at the time the game was played. It makes sense to me because teams change so much during the season.

I checked on James Madison and they had:

Villanova #11/14 and New Hampshire #17/16

thats why this isnt a good list

EWU is at least 0-1 vs top 10 and top 25 just playing NDSU

Weber State played Montana when they were #24 in the coaches poll and unranked. They played EWU when EWU was ranked #11/11
Northern Arizona's only ranked opponents were MVFC teams (WIU and ISU-Red, both at their place)- I want them in NDSU's bracket.
EWU's only ranked opponents were NDSU and Weber State (#19/14)

I should have mentioned that I only included teams that played more than two ranked opponents.

I put the raw data here:

Gripe: FBS games don't count if you lose so why should they count when discussing SoS?

Only three teams besides NDSU have played 6 ranked teams. NDSU has played 5 TOP 10 teams. Those other three teams went 0-5 v Top 10 teams, 4-16 v Top 25.

After this weekend, NDSU will be the only team to have played 7 ranked opponents.

After this weekend, NDSU will be "the only team to have played 7 ranked opponents" and BETTER BE slotted as # 2. Put USD and NDSU in JMU's side of the bracket and JMU will finally get to play an real opponent this season ... hmm.

I think that I'll wait until after Saturday's game to worry about where NDSU is seeded. :)

Lose and I'm not sure NDSU will get seeded at all (but my guess would be #8.)

While I do not think they lack for motivation, that might be a scary enough thought to get them going
