He was a decent game manager as a freshman with a great late season defense, not good last year, and we'll see what happens this year when they play real teams

^^^this. He doesn't seem to have good field vision and makes some really bad decisions every game even when he has all day in the pocket...he still gets sacked. He is getting away with poor decisions now but what happens against good defenses?

He has a very natural throwing action but he locks on to one side of the field. If the receiver is not open he does not go to 2nd receiver or 2nd option.

Well having AC issues my self in both shoulders from high school and college football the time frame depends on the severity. The first was about a week or so. I mean you can't lift your arms higher than your shoulder height out from your body. If it becomes a chronic issue you are talking a few weeks and could require surgery to fix.

I wish I had the surgery done on both of mine. Will probably be with me till I'm 6 ft under. Have only had one issue with it about 2 months ago in the last 7 years but man that smarts.

Depends on the degree.....1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
The ligament can be stressed upon landing directly on the joint. If the acromion process and end of the clavicle share the brunt equally, it tends to be a grade 1 unless the player lands from a high free-fall.

If the impact is more off center (which is usually the case because the acromion is more prominently positioned) the acromion is driven downward and the ligament stretches (within its span between the acromion and the clavicle). Grade 2.

In a more violent event (in terms of acromion being driven downward) a grade 3 sprain can occur. This is a complete rupture of the ligament (ligaments don't stretch very far before they fail) The clavicle pops upward and looks like a diving board.
