Interesting article. So the question is should they receive votes and then it is brought up no one really knows how they would do against a P5 school. When NDSU received votes, we knew what they could do against P5 schools because they were beating them. There was no question NDSU during their championship stretch could compete with 10-15 on out every year. I have no doubt the top 5 FCS programs should normally be competitive against 20 on out. The difference is NDSU earned votes because they proved to be a top 25 team in a lot of people's eyes. JMU might possible be there but some might want to see more. Their last 3 wins have been very impressive. ECU, a NC game, and NDSU on the road, but I am not ready to crown them the best FCS team ever yet.

By the way, Howard, IMHO, now has the biggest FBS upset in history.

The announcers were saying some crazy stuff.

For instances, WIU ranked 19 this week should jump to the top 10..uh that would only happen if the 10 teams above all got really thrashed. Even then doubt it would
happen. They did said WIU coach felt they hope to be in the top 10 by the end of the season.
