new season, new turf, new locker rooms.

First exhibition game is Thursday at 7 pm vs the goofy named Manitoba Bisons.

Looks like the 2017 regular season home opener vs. UND is Friday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m and it will air on the radio on Bison 1660. (has to be first, has soccer ever been on the radio before?)

So far the team hasn't scored a goal this season

From what I've seen of the team's play this season they just don't have the speed or the quickness of their opposition. Consequently they alway seem to be playing the ball too early because they're always under pressure.

Let's hope that Jamestown isn't their first victory of the season but if it is it's important to remember that one doesn't have to have a winning record to go to the NCAA's. You just need to win your conference tournament and right now everyone's record in the conference is the same.

3 consecutive wins will hopefully boost the confidence of this young team.

Nice win over ORU tonight in double OT to pull to 2-1 in Summit League play. Both of the OT's were pretty action packed.

Great to hear the soccer team won. They were disappointed after last years loss to ORU in conference tourney.

Much better to win in the Summit tournament than in the regular season. Championship Saturday Noon at Dacotah Field against Denver.

do they have a chance tomorrow?

I cannot see why not. Soccer involves taking advantage and capitalizing on your opportunities. Case in point, the win against SDSU- NDSU had 2 shots on goal and scored twice, SDSU had 4 shots on goal and scored zero.

Bison even the score to 1 all in the 82nd minute on a PK after a yellow on the DU GK.

And now Denver pulls ahead with a goal with a little over 5:00 remaining.

If nothing else, this young team has improved a ton over the season.

Haven’t heard anything. I would have thought Robbins would be considered for the job. Winona state sounds like a bit of a mess with what happened to the previous coach.
