He was so fun to watch! Hoping he kills it, and hoping he can stay healthy if he gets a shot at a mini-camp, he had many shoulder problems especially in his last year at NDSU.

Travis Beck is the Bill Brasky of Bison Nation.

Able to leap tall P5 blockers in a single bound, cover Usain Bolt with speed to spare, eat severe pain like it's grandma's candy, and clean out downtown Fargo back alleys in a single punch. :)

Travis Beck is the Bill Brasky of Bison Nation.

So anyway, Travis would put on a white tie and tails and walk his cobra through the park on a leash. He named the cobra Beverly, and he taught it how to fetch and dial a phone. But then one day it bit the maid. So with tears in his eyes, Travis had to shoot the maid.

Travis Beck is the Bill Brasky of Bison Nation.
6'15" 490lbs

He wears a live rattlesnake as a condom

Bill Brasky's foreskin is used to cover Yankee Stadium when it rains

At his bachelor party, he ate the entire cake before he could be told there was a stripper in it

Darryl Dawkins has a vacation home in Brasky's groin.

Guess you could say that was his Achilles heel! Too soon?

Based on what?

Antonio Gates was a college basketball player who never played a down of college football and is one of the greatest TEs in NFL history. Last year Rico Gathers was drafted in the 6th round out of Baylor by the Cowboys after playing college basketball his entire college career. There was even a guy from SDSU a few years back whose name escapes me who played college basketball for 4 years but never redshirted so he played football his 5th year and ending up getting either a training camp or rookie camp invite with an NFL team. It's not like Dex is a sure-fire prospect by any means but he has the measurables and the athletic ability to open some eyes.

If he works out well I think it's easily within the realm of possibility that he gets invited to a rookie camp based on those physical tools. A lot of college players get rookie camp invites.

EDIT: Dale Moss (http://www.gojacks.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=3727) is the SDSU guy I was thinking off. He played basketball 4 years and football his last year in 2011. Between 2012 and 2014 he bounced around the practice squads of the Packers, Bucs, Panthers, and Bears (link (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dale_Moss)).

True. I think Mustard did play football after his basketball eligibility ended. One season.

Dex has nothing to lose. The TE role in the NFL requires a lot of basketball skills.

Colts OL Joe Reitz went to Western Michigan on a basketball scholarship, but ended up in the NFL as an undrafted free agent. He ended up playing 9 seasons in the NFL including 6 in his home town of Indianapolis. He was a very good HS TE but ended up as an OL in the NFL. You never know!

His basketball experience will help him from a footwork standpoint. It will be interesting to see if he has the speed to be an NFL player. If he could get on a practice squad it will buy him some time to develop his football skills and get acclimated to the game again.

Mustard did play one year as TE for UND. He started out as a TE in the NFL but I believe he transitioned to a tackle at some point cause that is what he was for the Broncos.

I was wrong and right so your 98% might be right. He played both positions at Denver according to a write up I just read. By the way I hated Mustard when I was in School as he played on a really good UND BB team which included Kleinsasser and Travis Tuttle (Mr. Swass).
