Don't know. His team gave up 3.6 yards/carry last year and had 27 sacks (http://www.utmsports.com/stats/Football/2016/teamcume.htm#TEAM.DEF). Also spent some time at Charleston, Ashland, Ohio and Illinois before coaching at Tennessee-Martin. Perhaps he brings in the ability to recruit new areas for NDSU.

Good recruiting areas, especially the East side of Indianapolis (Tutsie's area).
