Didn't know where to put this, but, Jason Witt who played football for NDSU in the early 90's died Saturday in a 4 wheeler accident in South Dakota. He was a great guy and he leaves behind a wife and 2 young kids. If I find out anything more about helping out his family and such, I will let you know here. This is a terrible tragedy and hopefully we can help out his family in any way possible.

tragic news... Jason Witt was a great guy, and he will be sorely missed... all of our prayers should be with his family during this difficult time.

interesting some of those names mentioned as buddies of Witty... makes you wonder what those guys are up to nowadays, anyone know where Tony Paul, Rob Hyland or Sean Frederichs are living/doing/etc? I'm sure they'll hate to receive news like this.

My prayers go out to Jason's family. I heard about the news from a former teammate. Jason was a great guy, with a great heart, and very much an overachiever.

Bisonalways, per your question about what some former bison are doing.

Tony Paul - lives in Chicago works for a trading company on the Merc

Sean Fredricks - lives in Fargo and is an attorney

I grew up with Jason in West Fargo, teamates for the Pack. Hadn't seen him much lately, but the last time I saw him was, of course, Bison Football game vs. SDSU. Him and his oldest boy had great season tix!

J-Dubs, I'll miss ya.

The Funeral was very nice and many friends/families joined to express love, support, and celebrate Witty's life.

It was good to see former Bison players getting together showing their love for Witty. Once a Bison always a Bison

He will be missed very much.
