FARGO, N.D. - Richard "Dick" Hocking, 79, Fargo, died Friday, Nov. 4, in Rosewood on Broadway.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m., followed by the funeral at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9, at West Funeral Home Chapel in West Fargo. Burial will be in St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery in Casselton, N.D.
Dick was the person who years ago got me going to NDSU basketball. He years ago was a season ticket holder and when his buddies were not going he would call me up and I bought his ticket and went. He also used to go to Football games. He gave up the tickets when he was battling lung cancer, but after he recovered he tried to go to a few games.
