ISU-Red dominated EIU. EIU's first five drives consisted of 28 plays for 55 yards... they scored on two of those drives: a 5-play, 7-yard drive for a FG and a 5-play, 17-yard for a TD. ISU-Red fumbled four times, lost two, and threw an INT. EIU: No fumbles, not INTs. I freaking hate when MVFC teams screw up their off-season.

ISU-Red dominated EIU and lost, dominated Northwestern and won, and, um, played Valpo. I suspect that ISU-Red will stomp ISU-Blue unless they are -3 in TO again, but they should be 3-0 right now and that's disappointing.

One particular player of interest from ISUr is safety Alec Kocour. If anyone remembers, we had a bit of a recruiting battle with the 'birds in trying to get Alec to NDSU. Without looking, I believe he's a senior now and he is the anchor of their secondary. Let's all welcome Alec to NDSU and show him what he missed out on.

I'm flying in from Seattle for this one. I'll be taking the red-eye to Minneapolis and then driving straight up Saturday morning. I can pick up some grillables and a 6-pack on my way into town.

Meh? Conference opener against a team we barely beat in the finals the year before last! First conference matchup in three years. Both teams have a Big Ten win this season.....Turnovers were the reason for the loss against EIU. Like almost all conferences games, this should be a battle!.... Meh???
