My excitement level for NDSU football creeps up throughout the offseason. Scale of 1-100 it slowly rises 10-20-30-40-50...when the NDSU season trailer comes out, it auto jumps to 100 and it stays there until the season starts.

Don't know if anyone noticed, but the way they constructed that video was really smart. It's actually two videos in one. They built a stopping point right at 1:30. And all of the ESPN clips come in the second half, so they can just use the first half without worrying about permissions or royalties. I expect we'll see the first 1:30 a lot this year.

I suspect the NFL has that one(unless NDSU sent a camera), but it's much easier to get permission for a single clip than the half dozen or so ESPN clips in the second half. (I'm assuming the championship celebration clips were made with NDSU cameras and not from the ESPN/NCAA broadcast.)

Maybe that wasn't their rationale at all, but it just seemed convenient that they split them in that way.

Bumping this thread because I watched this video again for the first time in a while and it's got me jacked up for playoff season. I love the comments from opposing coaches during the playoffs last year that they dubbed in there. In particular, John Grass from JSU at the 2:40 mark (https://youtu.be/2xqZhNKIEsg?t=2m40s): "I've said it before. Their guys when the playoffs start, you look at it on film. They're a different team, they know how to win the games."
