Good game to schedule, although I don't see myself going there.

This is good and I like getting something in the NE...but we need an FBS game. Three years w/o one is WAYYY too long

Problem with FBS games is hey are hard to find, and the Bison are getting way under value when they do schedule them. I understand FBS teams don't want to pay an FCS school to come in and beat them, but G5 teams get over $1M from P5 teams for OOC games. What was NDSUs deal with Oregon? $4-500K? A home and home with an FCS team with name recognition that doesn't cost money to pay them to come here is a good thing in my mind. Don't get me wrong, I understand there is value beyond the dollars and cents in the FBS matchups, but there is value in these interconference FCS games as well. It helps the FCS as a whole.

Agreed! And there's quite a bit of things to do within driving distance as well. I've never been to Philly, and haven't been to NYC since I was in high school. This could be a heck of a vacation!!

Thanks, I was just going to go look for the future rotation. Basically 11 chances in 16 (bye week shouldn't be in play that early) for an Iggles game w/in a couple hours.

These games also have FCS Kickoff written all over them. Great job by NDSU to help lead the pack with interesting OOC matchups...this is how you stay relevant!

This will be fun for me since my sister is Delaware alumni. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more Bison fans than blue chicken fans at the Delaware game.

Delaware's stadium is only 35 miles from the Philadelphia airport. On a good day which is rare anymore

And there is an Amtrak station right near the stadium...
Limited Amtrak service to that station. If a early afternoon game it's doable option based on the current schedules. SEPTA rail service to Philadelphia does not run on weekends.

I wouldn't worry about hotel space. Those hotels serve people driving through the area and not the university. The people that attend the games live close enough to drive and drive out.

yes, I know 2019.............after 2019, the undies can go pound sand for the next decade and beyond.

People on the James Madison forum are not happy with this because supposedly they have been trying to get a home/home with NDSU and can't. One of the few message boards that actually has some pre-season chatter.

It's rumored we were in talks with them to have them for the kickoff game this year, but they wanted a return game instead of a guarantee. I'm guessing we were also talking with CSU and they agreed to the guarantee, so that ended that.

Never too early to start looking at ticket strategies.

Their season tickets are reasonable. End zones and the family pack are quite inexpensive.

Didn't want to start a new thread and this was written because of the H/H with Delaware.
I had to laugh when I read this:
The ONLY downside to playing there would be the 19,000 capacity during football games — 5,000 less than Burgess-Snow — which would, after each school’s band received its share, make a ticket to the game nearly impossible.

Guess which team????
