Don't let Kathy Neset know that. She'll want NDSU to give some of their rank to UND.

That there is more proof that NDSU isn't helping the other school(s) enough.

I'm sure it would have been 31 had Bresciani been more of a "team player/communicator".

Don't want to start a separate thread. This is a different kind of ranking from a group called Third Way. They call it a mobility ranking and it looks at how likely a student is to improve their situation by going to that school. It looks at how much it costs for a $48k/year family to send a kid, the 6-year grad rate, fed loan repayment rate, and Pell Grant info.

Among 4-year public schools, NDSU came in 71st out of 535.

Conference-mates, other local schools, and top-5:

1 US Merchant Marine Academy
2 UC San Diego
3 Virginia
4 Texas A&M
5 North Carolina

52 UNI
66 ISUr
71 NDSU
110 SDSU
132 UND
159 DSU
182 UNO
202 VCSU
215 WIU
234 USD
258 Minot St
274 Missouri St
277 Mayville St
280 Mont St
297 IUPUI
319 ISUb
339 SIU
402 Montana
479 YSU
513 IPFW

NDSU is cheaper than UND for low income families(that seems odd as the difference is $11k vs. $14k). UND has a slightly higher grad rate(55% vs 53%). NDSU has a slightly better loan repayment rate(93% vs. 92%), slightly better earning potential(76% make >$25k after 6 years vs. 75%), and more Pell grant students(23% vs. 22%).

This is how I imagine those meetings between Dean and the SBoHE go every time he has tell them that NDSU, not UND is the leading university in North Dakota.
