We've got a huge opportunity to steal one in Brookings in a few days! Would be ideal to get Paul Miller back for this one, but the Bison have to find a way to slow down Parks and Marshall. It'll be rowdy in Brookings with all the small-town hicks and their jealousy, but I'll take NDSU 68-64 ;)

The offense is what worries me. I'd gladly take a 90% Paul Miller as long as it wouldn't worsen his injury. I think the defense will do their job.

Will be a very tough game. Jacks play well and winning the road isnt easy. Likely will be without Paul. (Which is fine, need him health for next weekend). Team will need to find away to score enough and continue to play solid defense.

Yeah, while SDSU is always a big game just based on the natural rivalry the games this week for NDSU mean very little when it comes to tournament time. Unless the unlikely scenario plays out where NDSU sweeps on the road this week and SDSU gets swept at home the Bison are locked into the 4/5 game so I hope they play it safe with Paul Miller. It would be ideal to get him some PT before the tournament to knock the rust off so hopefully he can at least get his feet wet at Denver on Saturday.

I agree but I'd like him to play some tomorrow night too and extend his minutes against Denver if possible. Conditioning may be a factor come tourney time since he has been out so long. We are gonna need every minute we can get from him if we are to win 3 games in a row.

Also need to see some better production in the post. Combined D Miller, Kading, and Dex are 4-10 for 10 points, only 5 rebounds, and 8 fouls tonight. Seems like when Dex is off the whole team struggles offensively, especially without Paul Miller.

On a good note though IUPUI lost and Omaha in winning by double digits with under 5 minutes to go which bodes well for the top half of bracket setting up nicely for the Bison with IPFW as the #1 and IUPUI as the other team in the #4/#5 game (and SDSU and Omaha both on the opposite side).

I was pretty proud of the guys last night, fought hard, played good defense and gave us a chance to win in a game we really had no business winning given Miller and Khy were out. Richman made a nice adjustment with the double team on Daum and overall if it wasn't for so many ticky tack calls in the post I think we coulda came out of there with a W. Hopefully we'll have less homer refs at the Summit League tourney, them shooting 19-23 from the FT line when I saw at least 8-10 of those FTs come off a garbage foul call late in the shot clock when we should have gotten out of the possession without giving up any points gives me hope for next weekend. Just gotta hope Khy and Paul can come back at close to 100%, playing 3 games in 3 days after not playing for a while could be a tough challenge.

Yep, 6' 9", long, fairly quick, multiple skills on offense, perhaps too quick for our current bigs (Dex incl)
I'm hoping Deng Geu can help on defending Daum next season.
