Championship swag

Any good (not a graphic that covers 90% of the front of the shirt) new championship swag, or is it all the typical huge graphics overkill they've done in the recent past?

Stopped at Scheels last night. They did not have a ton of stuff yet...and I'm guessing they will have less than previous years...every year it gets a little less. As for the amount of graphics...most of it was pretty busy. I do anticipate more/better stuff in the following week or two. I'll probably stop by a couple times a week for a while...have to get my coffee mug and bar glasses/mugs to add to the collection.

It's still really early. Let's not forget that this game was only 4 days ago!! The stuff they get out right away is stuff that can be made quickly. That's why it's all screen printed shirts. Eventually there will be embroidered clothing that will have the new championship logo; it just takes longer. Fargo Scheels will have gear before the other Scheels stores. If you go to the NDSU Bookstore website, they have tons of stuff you can order that will ship when they get it.

I don't like that the new shirts don't mention the other 8 titles and the rings are generic. I would like "5 in a row" combined with "13 time national champs". Haven't seen anything like that in a couple years, other than the shirts that have the banner on them.

Check out the bookstore-they have shirts for the 13 championships and the 5 peat with this year's logo and rings down the left side-says 5 straight for North Dakota state. I also prefer the stuff that recognizes the 5 peat, (a lot of scheels stuff makes it look like we've only won 5 ever,) not too overloaded with graphic and for my husband recognizing all 13 is great.

I have not purchased any championship stuff as the trophies have piled up the last five years. My rationale/superstition is to wait until the run us done. Pretty sure my restraint has been a contributing factor to the title run. Maybe not as important as the wolf shirts, but key anyway. :howdy:

I have been saying this since Fall last year. I made a trip to Fargo and when I thought I could buy some stuff from Scheels, there was nothing. This is two days before the official football season started. Sometimes it feels like Walmart has better NDSU merchandise compared to Scheels.

The hat store at West Acres is embroidering the gray hats with all 5 of the years encircled by stars. Looks sharp. I think it was $10 over the normal price of the cap. Looks as tho it belongs there.

But I think that they also have gotten way better in having stylish NDSU clothing like jackets, polos, quarter zips, and other clothing. It's not just cotton tshirts anymore but a lot of quality stuff as well. I think the selection has only gotten better in past 5 years. If they had the same stuff all the time, nobody would buy it. I think they have done a good job of broadening their selection. Now, I've heard people here complain about not having enough 2x and up selection. Well, that is an issue in most clothing stores. The NDSU bookstore has gotten better as well. It's tough to keep being innovative and getting new items all the time to convince customers that they need yet another piece of Bison clothing. When you compare the selection at the Bookstore and Scheels now to 10 years, it's not even close.

I agree completely. Some people are not happy unless they are complaining. Always lots to choose from at both places. The bookstore is a better value a lot of the time, though.

This I hate big gaudy obnoxious looking shit. Save that for game day shirts. Simple and clean look. Gold for game day, green or other colors for everyday wear

I had one from the undefeated year and that happened the first time I used it. Since it was right away I was able to replace it, but the "new" one will never again see a dishwasher so it rarely gets used.

National championship full-size footballs are in, as well as the minis. The panoramic prints are there with both the small frame and the larger matted frame. Remember they usually do sell out of the locker room caps.
