Men return home on Wednesday night @ 7pm. to face the Coyotes of South Dakota. Big game for both teams as both have two or more losses in conference play. Late news tonight of Carlin Dupree adds to the storyline but the young Bison may have just lost one of their older players...

Tonight is a huge game. Something to get out of the house. Get out and support the Herd. Big game. Dave vs Craig, two longtime friends now rivals. Both teams are very well coached and developing very young teams. BOth teams in desperate need of a win....and lets be honest, we are all curious to see how NDSU is going to respond to the loss of their 3rd leading minute eater. Going to be a great game.

Knowing the kids we have on the roster, my money is on them responding in a big way to the adversity of being 1-2 and losing a key contributor. Craig has a hungry and talented bunch at USD, so it wont be easy but I think the Bison get it done.

I hate these Wednesday games though, seems like we have had a lot of them this year...

Got a much needed win. Korey was awesome tonight, 21 points and 15 boards. Dex had some great effort plays as usual. Paul Miller had a bad night IMO. Too many turnovers and took some bad shots down the stretch. Also need to get the ball to AJ in those late game foul situations. I'd rather have him at the line then a true freshman. Lots to work on...

Yep, Kory Brown was certainly the difference last night. He played with great energy and showed tremendous leadership. This team is going to need to shoot extremely well going forward to be a top tier conference team. Very difficult to win without a dominant inside threat and little experience out front to handle pressure. One thing for certain, this team will face consistent and multiple press defenses from here on out.

I watched what I could last night while taking care of the kids. I am surprise that Clements didn't play a single minute in the game. At minimum I though he could take care of the ball and at least give someone a few minutes break IMHO.

I think that says a lot where the coaches think hes at from a defensive stand point. You have to be able defend at a high level to see the court. Hope Clements keeps grinding and working on it, so he can get on the court.

Brown had the game of his life last night. He was on.
Crowd was weak but I will attribute it to FriscoFever.
Students came out and the band was really adding to the atmosphere.

Was this on the last possession? You're allowed a 3 foot area and officials will give you a step either way after they hand you the ball. I asked an official about it and he saw the play and didn't see anything wrong when he saw it live.

I know Greg Stemen (does the color) really good guy. I always text him during games. He does live and work in ND.
