Men are in action tonight at Scheels Arena vs Northland College. Should be a fairly comfortable win for the Bison tonight. This will be the last tune up game before the Bison kick off SL play on Sunday afternoon vs Denver.

Go Bison!

They got killed by Bemidji. Should see some solid minutes from the bench guys.

With Kory Brown being out I would think they will concentrate on the mains group and getting comfortable with the different players.

The wife and I are going tonight. This will be one of the rare opportunities I'll have to see the team on a Wednesday night.

Speaking of Kory, is he out? Is this for sure or is he going to ride the pine tonight? He looks to be moving around just fine.

Game the week between Christmas and New Years, against a DII team, not expecting a big crowd. That's fine. Should be a great game to get the bench a lot of minutes.

Brown just came sprinting out of the locker room and then dunked it. I think he will be fine!!

I know it's Northland... But the difference between our football atmosphere and basketball is... Frustrating.

The atmosphere at the Duke basketball game was pretty weak today too. I wouldn't read much into tonight.

I'm not normally one who bitches about the schedule but why are we playing a D3 school? Nevermind - I see this is listed as an exhibition.

Cold from behind the arch, bison should be hot from there at home. D Miller controlling the inside.

what a pathetic waste of everyone's time. quit with these games and valley city, etc. its a joke.

NDSU is only 8-4 this year, these 2 dont count , im sorry.

Dex with a 2 hand reverse dunk at 1:17. He got called for a Technical for hanging on the rim.

It was an exhibition for Northland but not for NDSU. D3 is limited to 25 regular season games and 2 exhibition games. NDSU probably had some trouble filling out the home non-conference schedule and Northland was happy to make the trip.

Why isn't Wesenberg playing in a blowout? is he still on the roster? Injured?

It must've not been a true exhibition, otherwise I would've hoped to see guys like Deng Geu or Evan Wesenberg get some time throughout the game and they never checked in.

He's redshirting. None of the redshirts played hence my thought above about this not being considered a true exhibition.

Scott Miller said on the post-game that it counts for NDSU's season record, but it was an exhibition for Northland College. Go figure.

Redshirt year.

We only had one exhibition, UMary, that is where the redshirts played. I believe you are allowed 2 non-DI counters per season. So Northland and Valley City State served that purpose.

Getting back to campus and playing in a real basketball arena will do wonders in that area.

The basketball crowd is just totally different. Minus the students it is worse

If we do damn well this year and get to the NCAA's AGAIN the first time Thunderstruck plays in the new arena I think the place will be crazy.

Yeah, I've been going to NDSU events since I was 5. Basketball has always just been different. It's the way it is. Only time it was awesome was some SDSU games and the K State game.
