Hill was the Salukis' co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach this past season.
SIU finished 3-8 overall and 2-6 in the MVFC (ninth place). The Salukis led the conference in scoring during league play at 36.5 points per game, total offense (483.6 yards per game) and passing offense (293.9 yards per game.


Hill, who played for SIU from 2005-07, passed for 5,184 yards (fifth in school history) and 46 touchdowns (second in school history). His 841 rushing yards rank second in school history for rushing yards by a quarterback.

The team lead the conference in scoring but finished 2-6 in it. Sounds like my fantasy team that lead our league in scoring and was below .500 on the year. If this stat does not prove that a high scoring offense is nothing unless you have a defense that can stop the other team you will lose.

Little surprised. Hill is a very bright, upcoming offensive coach. Head coach? I don't think he's ready for that.
