The pom pons need to be bigger..........last time they were weak sauce, essentially a plastic wand with a few dozen 6" strands of colored paper. If they gave out pon poms the size of what is handed out at SEC games versus a 4 year olds birthday party then they might be a success.

Yes, pom-poms get in the way of a lot of things, but they still are enjoyable to many people when the time is right.

Now, if you ask me, the reason the last pom-pom event didn't go as well as it could have was, they gave us some scrawny, saggy poms that were both green and yellow mixed. And they gave us two of them.

We need big, beautiful, full and jiggly poms that we can stick right in the face of our opponent (figuratively, of course). And we only need 1 pom. I, for one, am not going to devote both hands to a set of poms, no matter how spectacular they happen to be. My other hand will be doing multiple other things.......................like high-fives, Bison horns and the like. Oh sure, occasionally, I might grab another person's pom, but that just depends on how "into" the game that person was at the time.

Agreed SD. Some people get a little ink or some TV time (i.e. Tatanka) and they go all "Hollywood" on us. ;)

And if she could ever get her mind out of the gutter for a second, and stop derailing these important threads, we might be able to get a decent set of pom-poms one day! :)
