NDSU should move the homecoming parade each year back to University Dr and the main campus on Saturday morning

Agree. The parade was great and downtown was hopping. Opening tailgate early was fun and only 10 people died of
Alcohol poisoning

What? That downtown broadway parade was awesome....both sides of the road were filled

Tailgating would leave a Saturday morning parade as a ghost town dude

The parade was never a ghost town when on University and on saturday. Broadway is too crowded for it. I had to tell quite a few inconsiderate people that showed up late and then proceeded to stand right in front of my group blocking the view for my young daughter to excuse themselves. If you show up late you don't get a front row spot.

The downtown bromance is a little extreme IMO.

Moving the parade to Friday night and downtown was one of the best decisions NDSU has recently made. Tons of people and downtown Broadway is a lot better atmosphere then University. I don't see it changing back anytime soon.

I was surprised that Scratch deli closed at 5. The number of people that went and tried the door or went and found they were closed was surprising. They lost out on a ton of cash. The hot dog cart outside was swamped and he was surprised how well he was doing. Lots of businesses embraced the thousands that were downtown but I was surprised at the number that didn't.

He could make 100 dogs wrap them in foil and walk around and sell them.

I will say that I thought the route was TOO condensed this year. Yes there were tons of people down there but because of the route people were extremely rude wedging themselves in front of others. The previous year we were on 4th and still enjoyed the parade and had room to move around a bit.
