LOVED what I saw today! We kicked their ass even though we made a lot of mistakes. Gotta get more pressure on the opposing team's QB. We tackle very, very well. Special teams need to correct some issues. Morlock was a beast today wearing #25 on a very special day for that number.

I have 100% confidence that we beat UND badly. Run up the score and embarrass these SOBs! Hope next Saturday's game is fair and injury free for UND. They don't deserve any excuses.

Non-scholarship Drake almost came back to beat UND. UND rushed for 25 yards!

Watched the 2nd half of the UND game after I got home. NDSU should beat UND. Hard to gauge because Drake is not that good.

Maybe Youngstown a few years ago when we destroyed them. The loss to Montana and the off week sure amped up the fans for this game. Next week should be no exception.

Also appears that Site on Sound must have moved the crowd noise sensors as the needle was in red for much of the first half, but that wasn't playoff loud although I was encouraged by the fans this week.

Honestly, I was not that impressed with Montana's crowd noise. Not taking away from their team and great fanbase, but I never struggled to talk casually with those right by me while being located in the second row of end zone. Yes it was loud, but not really any more loud than it was the past few nights on the floor of the Orleans Arena when Snyder and Burroughs won their World Titles. On a side-note for SamsRams, I met one of your former coworkers, Ian Lash at the Orleans Arena. Pretty good dude.

With that said, looking forward to being in the FargoDome for a NDSU football game for the first time since graduating in 2001!

At least when I said that a bunch of people claimed it was just a "graphic" to get us to cheer louder and wasn't tied to anything! :biggrin: I did notice right away we popped into the red, have to say though even in playoffs it was pretty rare to get it into the red, so either they moved the sensor next to somewhere that makes it louder or changed at what level is "red", there are numbers on there but can't read them, so not sure why they even bother with the numbers.

I don't think the banner is very old. That font is pretty new so they redid the whole thing, if memory serves. The material theory could have legs as the light might hit it differently.

It was made specifically for Gameday and made in 2 days. Their are not numbers added to the banner every year. Every year there has been a new banner made. An expense that NDSU gladly has to pay.

Well in full disclosure I was on the backside of the banner. The lettering is on the other side I had to reverse the picture to make it read correctly. So that might be why.

For those that don't like the show or the sponsors it's pretty simple, don't watch.
