NDSU hasn't done midnight madness in a few years. Had been a fun event so I hope in comes back in 2016 when the new arena opens.

That would be an awesome way to see the arena and welcome the players back to home court....

There is an entire thread talking about the 2015-2016 schedule. Not sure of the exact date the NCAA allows practice to start. We had 10 practices this summer prior to the Bahamas trip.

If you don't know then just say you don't know ... do you want to read through that entire thread to determine whether someone somewhere possibly posted when practice starts?

To answer your question, less then two weeks away until they start practicing.

We haven't had a midnight madness the last two years, really disappointing too, it was always fun to get out and get a sneak peak of the new players and watch a little basketball and see the dunk and 3 point contest. Hoping they'll bring that back to kick off next season in the SHAC

I would imagine the lack of a home arena right now is the reason they haven't had it. They aren't going to set up Scheels Arena in the bball setup for a practice and I'm guessing nobody wants to go to the warehouse where they practice.

Yes this year and last year make sense but we also didn't have it the last year in the old BSA so I'm not sure why that would have been, that's why I'm just hoping they'll bring it back to show off the new arena next year.

It would be nice at a home football game if they could bring out the mens and womens bb teams to help generate some early buzz on their upcoming seasons. Mens try and make it 3 straight to the NCAA and the womens team see if they can build on what they did last year and continue to improve.

They usually that every year right before the season starts. They bring them out on the field and announce them, then they are available to meet and get autographs after that.
