Sure not seeing an East Coast bias there.

The CAA might be underrated in that poll.

LOL at SDSU at #23. Talk about no respect.

A quarter of the top-25 come from the MVFC. That seems low. #norespect

I don't disagree, but to me the Big Fluffy is way, way too overrated. Five in the top 25? Wait, what?

Wow NDSU at #1 in preseason poll.

The Sporting News must be tired of being wrong.

There's a lot of Fluff in that poll.

There's a lot of Fluff in that poll.

This is the correct statement.

A reasonable person would conclude that the sixth best (according to Sagarin) FCS conference wouldn't have that much representation in the top 25 teams. Unless, of course, the remaining teams that are not listed are so bad as to drag the conference as a whole down that far.

I am honoring Tatanka with my first FIFY.

Surprised to see E Dub at #5 with the loss of Vernon.

Oh wait, Big Fluffy. Never mind.

Thought the samething. Did the redturds drop below SamHouston because Coperich will be running with a ball and chain.

Youngstown at #10 seems to high.

Pellini getting too much credit so far IMO.

Pelini is a joke. Spoke to a die hard Huskers fan last weekend. The fans hate his guts.

The thing about Youngstown though is that they play NDSU, SDSU, and Illinois State all at home.

He won 9+ games every season there. His personality didnt work well with the fans, but imagine if the new coach cant improve upon the records.

He was at NE. 9 wins is practically a given. He gave up an NCAA rushing record against WI. How does that happen when you are supposedly a defensive guru? He is a loud mouth Italian that is clearly over rated as a coach which is why no other school went after him. He even lost to MN.

I tend to remember there was another guy who was hated by Husker fans that did pretty well post-Nebraska. Not saying Pelini will be successful, but you logic has a three-peat sized hole in it.

Looks like Coperich might not be running anywhere since he was suspended from the team for selling pot to an undercover police. Story on SportsNetwork.com.

30 more seconds, he'd of never got caught? Or, forced into drug dealing because NDSU fans stole all his tickets?

But was Pelini loved by the cheerleaders?

Nebraska fans are more delusional than Notre Dame fans. Bo won over 70% of his games but the fans hated him. I went to a Neb-Colorado game back in the 90's in Boulder. The Buffs won and I saw a bunch of grown men in big red hats crying like babies! They have run all of their coaches out of town since Osborne. My guess is they will hate Mike Riley even more after he has less success than Pelini! Puck Nebraska!

Truth is, Nebraska isn't the powerhouse it used to be. It's had trouble adapting to modern college football, kind of like Michigan. You can't get back to the pinnacle with 9 win seasons. Lincoln is a football town, they want a winner.

The Hammersmith signal has been sighted.

Well, you know how the internet like to make fun of stupid images and turn them into memes? A few years back, photos of men holding cats(like for Christmas cards) become fodder for fun. That led to this photo being passed around:
http://41.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ldkcvvGMeZ1qf4a9ko1_500.jpg

Also, when Twitter was fairly new, people started creating fake twitter accounts for celebrities. The ones that were humorous were the ones that survived. A very popular one(in the world of college FB at least), was Fake Bo Pelini (@FauxPelini (https://twitter.com/fauxpelini)). For an avatar, he photoshopped the real Pelini's head onto the previous picture, creating this:
https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/451038023791038464/wG6l0e_5_400x400.jpeg

While Fake Pelini was very successful on his own, things went insane when the real Pelini acknowledged him a couple times. In the lead up to the 2013 BCS championship game, real Pelini tweeted fake Pelini to give him his cat back, he'd kept her long enough. Then real Pelini started showing up with his cat to occasional things like Husker spring games. (I think that's where that other photo came from.)

If I missed anything important, someone can correct me.

Correct, it was from last year's Nebraska spring game.

Also, FauxPelini and Goldy created a new traveling trophy for Minnesota/Nebraska.
