Today through Friday in Macomb. The reason its not on the weekend is because there aren't enough hotel rooms for the track meet and graduation which happens saturday!

Why does the Summit League hold the meet there? It's not like WIU has ever done anything in track. It's not like its a handy central location.

Anyway, good luck to the BISON!

Courtney Pasiowitz wins the women's hammer throw.

Women got 27 points in the hammer!

Men got 28!!!

For those of you not familiar with track scoring, it's 10 for 1st, 8 for end, and then 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 so there are 39 possible points in an event. NDSU usually wins with upper 200's so that's a big chunk of points for one event.

Last year, NDSU only got 6 points in the hammer on the women's side!

South Dakota will close the gap in the running events.

Yeah, some awesome sprinters graduated (Antoinette Goodman and Ashley Tingelstad.) NDSU is probably stronger in the distance events this year though.

And Landon Jochim wins the 400 in 47 seconds and change. Not bad for a true freshman.

They don't update results quickly. Both squads have decent leads.

Melissa Kitching just destroyed the field in the 400 hurdles. Ashley Heinze took 4th, I think.
