I dunno how many of you are registed on www.gohens.net , but they have a contest going that allows you to pick the winners each week of the top 25 teams. It looks like it could be alot of fun, especially those that fallow AGS. They listed NDSU as a 42.5 point advantage, the largest on the list. How many people expect CSP to keep it this close?

Other notes: Duke is only a 1.5pt advantage over Richmond. Upset??

I'm more concerned about whether the Fargodome has enough fireworks for the game, rather than what the point spread will be. ;D ;D ;D (and yes, I'll stay until the final horn sounds :P)

It is hard to say. 42.5 is a lot of points. NDSU might call the dogs off, and the game might not be as big a blowout as it could be. Or CSP might give NDSU a halfway decent game - NDSU would still likely win big, but perhaps not as much as some might expect. It all depends on what you consider "close".

putting a line on NDSU v. CSP is as stupid as betting on the spread of a preseason pro football game.

CSP was pretty good for a D2 team last year, 9-2 in the regular season. However, it appears that most of that was due to a senior QB--the defense was mediocre. This is the new QB's first game, so I doubt they'll give us much trouble.

I think 28 would be a reasonable spread for the first half. Beyond that, who knows?
